Snoring? Don't Didgeridoo It!

Research published in the British Medical Journal suggests one of the most surprising snoring treatments yet: playing the didgeridoo!

The didgeridoo is a traditional wind instrument from Australia, originally made from a hollowed out tree trunk.

According to the research, patients who practised the didgeridoo for a four month trial experienced a reduction in snoring and other sleep anpnea related symptoms.

This isn't quite as bizarre as it sounds. Playing the didgeridoo requires extensive breath training and this might be the reason for the improvement in snoring. Other research is currently underway to see if snoring can be reduced by singing.

Needless to say, playing the didgeridoo in the bedroom whilst your partner is trying to sleep is not recommended!
