Outdoor Patio Pillows

At they're simplest patio pillows are simply large cushions for use outdoors. However there's more to them than that.

What Are Patio Pillows?

Patio pillows are large pillows or cushions that have been designed specifically for outdoor use. Some are intended for use on a chair or lounger, however often they're just slung on the patio directly for sitting.

Outdoor use means that both the pillows and the covers must be specially designed. Not only must they be comfortable to sit on but they must stand up to the rigours of outdoor use. This means that they must be more durable than normal pillows as well as easy to clean, whether used for sitting on or just as decorative throws.

In theory you should bring your patio pillows indoors at the end of the day - but people always forget so they're almost bound to get rained on at some point in their life! Depending on where you live in the world various features such as water resistance and UV protection may be of more or less use, but essentially an outdoor pillow should be weather resistant to at least some degree.
