SilentNight

Silentnight Beds is a British company based in Lancashire, England. The company was founded in 1946 as Clarke's Mattresses, changing its name to Silentnight in 1951. Today the company is one of the UK's best known brands of bed and part of the Silentnight Group. Around one in four of all beds sold in the UK is from the Silentnight Group.

Miracoil

One of Silentnight's most well known innovations was the Ultimate Spring System in 1986 - this also launched the careers of the hippo and duck who have gone on to become advertising celebrities! Ten years later the Ultimate Spring System was refined still further to become the Silentnight Miracoil Spring System.

Today you can buy a large range of Silentnight beds, mattresses, headboards and accessories for both adults and children. In 2010 the company launched its Pocket Zing range of mattresses. These feature advanced pocket spring technology and Purotex probiotic treatment.
