Lifestyle FurnitureWhat Is Lifestyle Furniture?Discussing Lifestyle furniture can be a cause of some confusion in this day of global communications. There are (at least) two unrelated furniture brands using that name (I know of one in Australia and one in Ireland). There are also a number of stores in various countries which don't manufacture their own products but sell a variety of ranges.To consumers in the US the term "lifestyle furniture" is perhaps best known in relation to the company Lifestyle Solutions.
Lifestyle SolutionsThe California based American company Lifestyle Solutions (LS) was founded in 1989 and has grown rapidly. They describe their furniture as transitional, combining traditional materials and fabrics with modern design.You can buy a variety of LS products for use aound the house, including cabinets, chairs and sofa beds. In the bedroom the collections literally range from A to Z: Alfred to Zurich! In 2007 LS signed a licensing agreement with Serta under which LS will manufacture a new line of Serta branded klick-klack convertibles along with Dream Studio beds. This means that fans of the Serta brand name will be able to buy a Serta branded bed and other bedroom furniture to go with their new mattress.
GreenLifestyle Solutions are proud of their green credentials and say that environmental considerations are "an integral part of our business practice". The company's manufacturing process complies with the International Tropical Timber Organisation (ITTO) guidelines for sustainability and their products uses plantation grown harwood.
