Hypnos Beds
Hypnos is a family run British company that has been making beds for over a hundred years. The company describes its products as being "The most comfortable beds in the world". Hypnos specialises in handcrafted deep pocket spring beds using its ReActive or UltraSens technology.All Hypnos beds are individually handmade to order allowing you to buy the bed that best fits your personal requirements. A made to measure service is available if you want an unusual size or shape bed.
One of the company's main claims to fame is its Royal Warrant: Hypnos holds a Royal Warrant for bed supply to both the current Queen Elizabeth II and the late Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. It's held these warrants for almost forty years.
Options available when buying a Hypnos bed include a variety of headboard fabrics, "zip and link" splittable beds, ReActive pocket spring pillows and various configurations of divan storage.
Collections
Although Hypnos beds and mattresses are made to order the basic designs are divided into a number of collections. At the time of writing the main product collections are:
• Regency
Standard or Deluxe divan. Sandringham, St James and Hampton mattresses with ReActive pocket springs and Belgian Damask upholstery
• Heritage
Made with ecologically sound sustainable materials including British wool. President, Viceroy, Baroness, Countess, Duchess and Regent mattress options (either ReActive or UltraSens pocket springs)
• Pillow Top
No Turn mattresses with a layer of wool on the top. Sublime, Elite, Superior and Prestige mattresses
• Orthos Support
Firmer support mattresses with ReActive pocket springs
